Seoul Nori Madang

Seoul Nori Madang is a roofed outdoor circled amphitheater where you can see traditional Korean performances such as the farmers dance and mask dance. The theatre is circular and each performance can attract crowds of up to 1,300 people with a capacity of 2,500 people. The theatre is located beside Seokchon lake and Lotte World. The performances are very vivid and include a lot of costumes, colours and music. A visit is definitely recommended as it is free, the performances are excellent and sometimes martial art performances are also held here.

Nori Madang Hours:

Events are held usually every weekend on Saturday and Sunday in the afternoon around 1pm from April to October. The performances can be from 1 to 2.5 hours long.

How to get to Nori Madang Seoul:

Take line 2 to Jamsil station and leave exit 3. Head straight and take the first right. Continue walking straight and the theatre is on your left.
