Yanghwa Hangang Park

Yanghwa Hangang Park is located south of the Hangang River with Seonyudo Island just across the shore. Yanghwa Hangang Park stretches for over 11 kilometers in length. You can access Seonyudo Island from Yanghwa Park using the pedestrian bridge. Yanghwa park has a lot of recreational flatland green areas which are perfect for relaxing on, getting a tan or playing a bit of frisbee or recreational sports. There is also a rose garden where you can see colourful roses against the backdrop of the Hangang River.

Like all the other Hangang Parks there are plenty of sports facilities including a soccer field, volleyball and basketball courts. If you are interested in water activities you can find plenty to do here as water skiing and wind surfing arw quite popular. There is also a long bike course, the world’s biggest world cup fountain and a common reed forest trail.

The park is open 24 hours a day.

How to get to Hangang Yanghwa Park:

Take line 2 or 9 to Dangsan station and the park is located a 5 minute walk away. Follow the map below.
