Five Royal Palaces of Seoul
The Five Royal palaces of Seoul are palaces that were built during the Joseon Dynasty Paeriod (1392 -1897). Nearly all of the Palaces have been destroyed over the years but the Seoul Government has rebuilt them all and they are now popular tourist destinations. Fortress Wall Gates
The Fortress wall was a wall that enclosed the old city of Seoul during the Joseon Dynasty Period. The wall was originally 18.2km in length but now stands at around 10km. To enter in and out of the Fortress walls of Seoul many gates were located at different sections of the wall. Most of these gates are still standing today. Visit the gates of Seoul.
